A 4 year college of art and design. Located near the Nelson Atkins and Kemper Museums on the Plaza in KC, the Institute has a great program that includes internships and work study. The Institute has a partnership with UMKC that gives students the opportunity to double major. University of Central Missouri—Warrensburg
East Central College, Union, MO East Central College offers evening classes in ceramics and photography. The classes meet one or two nights a week, and are very good in content. Renee is a local artist who gives painting classes in Linn, MO.
