The LHS Art Club met on Wednesday, September 2. This recruitment meeting is meant for students to learn more about the art club and what being a member of art club entails.
It was decided that all members would pay $6.00 dues by September 24, 2010. All members will be expected to attend monthly meetings during lunch/tutor time, and at least 2 after school art club events.
It was decided to sell spirit wear to raise money for an art club scholarship for NAHS. We also pay in $3.00 per student for National Dues to the National Art Education Association. Graduating seniors would like honor cords to represent their membership in our organization. The honor cords are $15.00 a piece.
The Annual Art Club Field Trip will take place in March. We are interested in going to the St. Louis Art Museum or the University of Missouri Museum of Art and Archeology. |
