ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for A+, a student must meet the following requirements:
Have a signed A+ Agreement on file at Linn High School (see Agreement Form under Documents)
Attend an A+ designated high school for three years prior to graduation
Graduate with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Pass the Algebra I EOC, OR the Algebra II EOC, OR the Geometry EOC at Proficient or Advanced level, OR get a qualifying score on the ACT math subtest: 17 with 2.5 GPA; 16 with 2.8 GPA; or 15 with 3.0 GPA
Maintain at least a 95% cumulative attendance record in grades 9-12
Perform 50 hours of unpaid tutoring to other students in our district, which will be supervised by Linn R-II teachers
Perform 25 hours of volunteer services for our school and/or community
Maintain good citizenship, which includes avoidance of the use of alcohol and unlawful drugs AND in a single school year, not having any combination of OSS and/or ISS of greater than 5 days (see Agreement Form under Documents for specifications)
Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) during the spring semester of the senior year
Register for Selective Service (males only)
To remain A+ eligible at the post-secondary level, a student must:
Attend a Missouri eligible college/technical school on a full-time basis and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Complete a FAFSA each year of college
