Linn is located in central Missouri, 25 miles east of Jefferson City and 60 miles southeast of Columbia. Linn is classified AA by the MO Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education. There are approximately 330 students enrolled in grades 7-12.

A+ School:
Linn High School is a participant in the Missouri A+ Schools Program. The successful graduating A+ student will receive reimbursement for the cost of tuition and some fees for post-secondary education at a Missouri community college or technical school. Transcripts will be stamped with an "A+" if the student is eligible for reimbursement.
Activities:
Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of curricular and extra-curricular activities. Some of the activities include marching band, Color Guard, vocal music, cheerleading, girls softball, boys baseball, girls and boys basketball, cross country, track, volleyball, golf, and soccer. Some of the clubs are National Honor Society, TREND, NAHS, FCCLA, FFA, FCS, RAK, Athletic Club, Academic Team, Student Council, Art Club, Book Club, Guitar Club, Young Democrates, Tri-M, and WYSE.
