The regular session Board of Education meeting scheduled for tomorrow night, February 16 has been rescheduled for February 23. We will hold a special virtual meeting on February 16. Please see the attached agenda.
Tonight’s boys and girls basketball games at Tuscumbia have been postponed. The games have been rescheduled for Thursday February 18th starting at 5pm.
Today’s boys and girls basketball games at St. Elizabeth have been canceled.
Bus 16 will be in place of bus 28 and bus 21 will be in place of 32 this morning. Bus 28 may be just a few minutes late. Just a reminder that buildings are open at 7:15 if you wish to drop your children off.
Next week the Linn Wildcats Cheerleading Team will be hosting a cheer camp for grades 2nd-8th. On Friday 2/19 the camp participants will preform at halftime of the varsity girls basketball game.
Camp will be held Tuesday-Friday from 3:45-5:00 pm.
Cost: $20.00 per participant
Where: High School Commons
Complete flyers can be picked up in elementary and middle school offices on Friday 2/12.

Here is the updated basketball schedule for the next few days weather permitting:
Friday @ Chamois starting at 6pm with varsity girls followed by varsity boys. Bus time is 4:45pm. Their restrictions are 2 tickets per athlete.
Saturday @ Russellville starting at 1pm with JV boys followed by varsity girls and then varsity boys. Bus time is 11:15am. Their restrictions are 4 tickets per athlete and children 5 and under do not need a ticket.
Sunday @ St. Elizabeth starting at 2pm with JV boys followed by varsity girls then varsity boys. Bus time is 12pm. Their restrictions are 2 tickets per athlete.
Monday @ Tuscumbia starting at 5pm with varsity girls followed by varsity boys. No restrictions.

Tonight’s varsity girls basketball game vs. Russellville has been canceled due to weather conditions. The girls will travel to Russellville tomorrow February 8th with the boys to play. JV boys will play at 5pm followed by varsity girls and varsity boys.
Tonight’s JV boys basketball game at South Callaway has been postponed. We will play that game on Wednesday of this week.
After consultation with California and based on the anticipated snowfall predictions that are scheduled to begin around noon today, the boys’ basketball game for today has been postponed. The athletic directors are working on a reschedule date.

Linn Police Department has received six car seats from MoDOT that are to be given away free of charge to qualifying members of the public. Qualifying members must be from Osage County and must meet the 2020-2021 federal poverty guidelines. There are four Cosco BC110-EJP car seats that are rated for 40-100 lbs. and two Cosco BC112-FSM car seats rated for 22 to 80 lbs. These seats are first come, first serve.

Correction. The date for the homecoming game is February 5th not the 6th.

6:15 Coaches recognition
6:30 Varsity Girls (national anthem and fight song prior to tip off; dance performance by the cheerleaders at halftime)
8:00 homecoming coronation
8:15 Varsity boys (state recognition at half time)
