A group of 8th grade students attended a Career Exploration Day at State Tech where they were able to explore the Health Science and Electronics/Computer programs, as well as interact with students and staff.

34 juniors and seniors attended the Build My Future event in Jefferson City. Build My Future is a national workforce development initiative that highlights careers in the construction industry through hands-on learning opportunities provided by local employers, unions, educators, and skilled trades associations. Students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning in a wide range of activities including: roofing, siding, framing, hanging and mudding drywall, plumbing, door hanging, GPS surveying, excavator and underground utilities, rebar tying, equipment operations, welding, and many more.

A link below will allow staff and parents to sign up and assist with the PTO Halloween Hoedown this Friday, October 28th from 6-8pm. Support for Event Set-up on Thursday Oct 27th is also needed. This event is not possible without the help and dedication from volunteers, so throw on some cowboy gear and giddy up for a night of boot scoot'n family fun! All proceeds go to YOU and YOUR STUDENTS.
