34 juniors and seniors attended the Build My Future event in Jefferson City. Build My Future is a national workforce development initiative that highlights careers in the construction industry through hands-on learning opportunities provided by local employers, unions, educators, and skilled trades associations. Students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning in a wide range of activities including: roofing, siding, framing, hanging and mudding drywall, plumbing, door hanging, GPS surveying, excavator and underground utilities, rebar tying, equipment operations, welding, and many more.
